FFF StreetRide

Hot. That is what the weather was like. 66 riders hit the streets of Oslo and showed the city how a bike should be ridden. Best stunt? Tailwhip down a 7 steep stairs. Dang!

Home again

Well I survived. The riding at Vrådal was pretty hairy, bare rock and steep, but with so much potential. Can't wait to go back!

Quick tip.

This is a first in a series, maybe. Sometimes it pays to cross your gear cables to reduce friction. If you look at the picture you can red the cables are crossed so that the cable housing gets a path of less resistance around the head tube. Instead of the housings doing an S bend, they only do a wide bend, and the cables, although they touch, will have less resistance. Try it on your bike. (Illustrated bike: DBS Intruder XTR.)

Vrådal

I'm at an alpine centre 2hrs drive from home to see if there is any freeride or dh possibilities. The place has great potensial, lots of bare rock, 400m of height, and a good lift... Oh and really friendly people and beautiful scenery. I love it. This is Andreas' car, a 73 Ranchero. Sweet!

My latest.

This should be fun, today I made a luge bike. No chain, upside down bmx frame, 24'' wheels, u brake at the back, nowt at the front. No suspension. Wierd angles. And, of course, a computer to tell the ambulance people how fast I was going before I crashed. Now I just need a hill and someone to drive me to the top. Watch this space.

Home

I sat by the sea, contemplating infinity, and basically skated all the way home again. Nice.

Longboard to the sea.

Today I skated down to Portør. The road is narrow, but the tarmac is smooth. It took me half an hour gentle cruising, with some nice hills and long flats. Now I just have to get back, TAXI! Nah, I'll good it.

The hotel.

This is just a cool angle. The riding around here is good and you can end up in a hot tub, but it's the architecture that blows me away.

Wolf!

I don't mean to cry wolf, but yes the rumours were true, I was riding a Marin Wolf Ridge. It is quite good, and thanks for the test ride. Will tt be selling them? Watch this space.

Race ready

The racing look is ready on the tt wagon, representing the brands that are best.

Good day at Frog.

A nice day in Oslo's play place. Only fell off once...

100 years old today!

Staying over at a mate's flat in Oslo. We rode til late last night, bikes that is, and will ride again as soon as he gets his lazy arse outta bed. To be fair it is really early and I feel old. Not looking forward to wet shoes.

First mud.

My new bike, Commencal Superteam dh on the train to the top of the trails at Frognerseteren, after one of it's virgin rides. The bike is a rock star, also roots, singletrack, berms, drops and drifts. Roll on summer!
