Just brilliant. I went out for my traditional new year's ride on the Simba Trail, it's been cold, but there is hardly any snow so the ground is just hard and fast. I'd swapped over to spiked tires for the ice. So there I was, pumping through the bumps and I hit an icey puddle, the ice broke and I went over the bars. Thanks. After that I rode more cautiously and even found some new trails. Soon it was getting dark so I headed home. About 2 clicks from hq I hear that dreaded sound and my rear mech went into the spokes and ripped itself apart. Good start to the year! Cheers!
